Walk amongst the Dubai Skyline, and one thing immediately becomes clear: this is a city ripe with progress. Pushing the envelope is the norm over here, and there is a new update from the streets of Ras Al Khor. Follow the update, and what you come across is AGMC’s latest move. The official importer of BMW Group vehicles in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates has broken ground on a new multi-brand facility in Ras Al Khor, one of Dubai’s most established automotive and logistics zones. If the expectation was a showroom refresh, you are gravely mistaken; this is showroom glamour on steroids.
One Roof, Many Touchpoints
A handshake seals the deal, but what about the journey to make that happen? Premium car purchases feature a host of moving parts, the most important being the feeling and aesthetic. AGMC’s new facility is planned as a BMW destination that brings premium retail and high-capacity aftersales operations together.

Once completed, the development will span 2,500 square metres (excluding parking bays) dedicated exclusively to BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad. The scale-up is bigger than architectural; it also factors in the many operational points as well. High-capacity aftersales implies specialised equipment manned by trained technicians, and the kind of backend competence that keeps premium ownership a smooth experience, one that closely matches BMW’s silky smooth drive experience.
Retail.Next & AGMC
The new facility is being developed in line with Retail.Next, BMW’s global customer-centric showroom concept is designed to transform the vehicle buying experience. It’s a shift you can feel even before you sign anything. Retail.Next is essentially BMW acknowledging that luxury customers don’t want to be “sold to”; they want to be guided. When done right, the showroom becomes less of a retail floor and more of an experience studio.
Flagships on the Runway
Luxury travel in the Emirates has always been a theatre of details. It’s an experience that doesn’t try to be ordinary, and the folks at AGMC understand that a car is also an extension of this. Al Majlis operates as a dedicated, standalone terminal designed for discretion and expedited processing. The offering is straightforward and makes the usual wait a comfortable experience; throw in chauffeur-driven BMWs, and you have yourself a travel experience fit for a king.

Under the new contract, a fleet of flagship BMW 7 Series and BMW XM models will handle all movements. It’s an intentional pairing: the 7 Series delivers classic elegance, quiet authority in motion, while the XM adds modern boldness and high-performance presence. Together, they cover the full spectrum of what “VIP” can look like.
The Same Story
Both initiatives, Ras Al Khor and Al Majlis, speak the language of luxury and star quality. One is bricks and mortar, expanding the BMW Group’s physical footprint of experiences in the UAE. The other is leather and discretion, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation for luxurious efficiency in premium travel.
With Dubai making waves in the automotive world, it’s only a matter of time before the next wave of progress hits the headlines.
