As he undergoes cancer treatment, we ask the Middle East automotive community to send a word of support to a leader that many of you may already know as a colleague and friend.
From the outside, this industry is sometimes relished to just the cars and showrooms. People, however, are what we believe give the space its strength.
That strength is now called forward for our very own Andi Woolley.
Andi, General Manager of Behbehani Brothers in Bahrain, is a familiar name across the region. Through the group’s representation of Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Volkswagen, Skoda and Stellantis Group, he is grounded at the epicentre of one of Bahrain’s most preeminent automotive businesses.
For those who know him personally, the titles are just show and tell however..
Andi is a colleague, a friend, and a respected member of the wider automotive community. Those close to him know him as a man with a fighter’s mindset, one who keeps moving regardless of what circumstance has to say on the matter.
Today, undergoing cancer treatment, Andi faces one of the toughest challenges of his life. Yet, his response has continued to reflect the qualities many in the industry know him for already: resolve, with no short supply of courage..

When we spoke with Andi, one message stood above everything else.
“I am not asking for pity. I am asking you to keep showing up even when the answers don’t come on time, whatever your circumstances and challenge may be.” Andi said.
“Ten minutes is all it takes to tell fear that it doesn’t win today,” he said. “You just need one honest reason to keep going.”
“Step away from the keyboard, put down the phone, and speak to colleagues face to face.”
As you may well know, this industry is competitive by its very nature. Negotiations, collaborations, mergers, movers, shifts and everything in between; all across a shared regional network.
Underneath all of this sits something strong: community.
This community, our community, has the chance to show up for one of our own.
We’re inviting professionals across the region and beyond to leave a message for Andi. It can be a prayer, a memory, a few words of encouragement, or a simple reminder that he is in your thoughts.
Every message tells Andi that while the fight is his, he is surrounded by people willing him forward.
