Across the Middle East, the automotive industry is built on our people’s resolve. Among those who keep this industry moving every day are thousands of proud Nepali colleagues, leaders, managers, technicians, service advisors, drivers, detailers, parts professionals, sales and support teams, supervisors and many more directly (or indirectly) serving our industry across the region.
For many dealerships and automotive businesses across the GCC, Nepali colleagues are trusted members of the team, valued for everything from their dedication, discipline, and humility to resilience. They have helped build businesses, serve customers and keep vehicles moving across our region, often while carrying the hopes and responsibilities of their families and loved ones back home.
At a time when Nepal and its people are facing hardship and uncertainty due to the unprecedented disaster that took place recently, the automotive community in the Middle East stands in solidarity with our Nepali colleagues, their families, and communities.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected. We recognise the worry carried by those working thousands of kilometres from home, particularly when their loved ones are facing difficult circumstances in Nepal.
The distance may be far, but the connection between the Middle East automotive community and Nepal is anything but. Every Nepali colleague in our regional offices, dealerships, workshops, warehouses, transport operations and offices represents a bridge between our two regions.
The contribution of Nepali professionals to the Middle East automotive sector is sometimes discussed in numbers, but numbers do not tell the full story.
They tell us how many people are employed. They do not tell us about the technician who stays late to finish a vehicle for a customer. Likewise, they do not tell us about the colleague who starts work before sunrise, or the member who keeps deliveries moving, the parts specialist who knows exactly where a critical component is.
Sometimes we forget about the sacrifices made far from home. Behind every employee is a family, friends, and loved ones thousands of kilometres away.
To our Nepali colleagues across the automotive industry in the Middle East: please know that your contribution is seen by all of us.
You are an important and integral part of the automotive family in this region. Your professionalism, dedication, and commitment have earned the respect of colleagues, customers, and employers across the region.
For those worried about family members in Nepal, we hope you find strength in knowing that you are not alone. Your colleagues stand beside you, and our wider automotive community stands with Nepal.
The automotive industry is ultimately a people business. Vehicles may be the products we sell and service, but people are what make the industry work. This gives companies an opportunity and a responsibility to support their people when circumstances demand it.
For employers, that support can be simple but meaningful: check in with Nepali employees, give them space to communicate with their families, understand the pressures they may be carrying, and, where possible, provide practical assistance to those affected. Small gestures can have enormous meaning when someone is far from home.
The Middle East and Nepal have developed a deep human connection through generations of employees that has contributed to the growth of this region while supporting families and communities at home. The automotive industry is proud to be part of that connection.

To Nepal, to the Nepali people, and to every Nepali colleague across the Middle East, we stand with you.
